Random Short Tangent

Just tossing in a quick entry before I head to work today. I gave blood yesterday, I think this is my fifth time giving or somewhere in there. Like everywhere else gas prices have gone up, a lot. Cheapest I've seen it for is $3.19. Blah. Glad I filled up back when it was a $2.56. From what I've heard though, prices are only going to be getting worse. I'm still trying to understand the concept of people looting TV's and shit when they have no power in the areas the hurricane hit. I don't know, people do crazy shit. I could understand stealing food and water, to feed your kids or something but a tricked out stero? >.> I dunno, I told you guys I'd go on a tangent on here at some point. However, this one is going to be short 'cause I gotta get to work soon. As far as I've heard, Japan is the ONLY country to offer us help in our crisis. 'cause ya know, a natural diaster happens in another part of the world and we never offer any aid... Pfft. Just goes to show how many allies we really have...everyone else just hates us. The only reason people make alliances with us, is because we are a fairly rich country and they want our money and support for whatever. But all be damned if they help us out. Maybe we should go back to being isolationists and screw the rest the world. Yeah, then everyone would really love. At least they wouldn't be bitching at us for interferring in thier affairs... Just can't win, can we?
